Description
The Beatles "1965" framed presentation celebrates the year 1965 in Beatles history and features classic photos from that year. The first photo features the band on the cover of their British EP entitled "Beatles For Sale (no. 2)" released on June 4, 1965 in the UK. The next photo was taken on March 28 as the Beatles were rehearsing for an appearance on Thank Your Lucky Stars in England. The bottom photo appeared on the British album cover for "Help". The album cover features the group with their arms positioned to spell out a word in flag semaphore. According to photographer Robert Freeman "I had the idea of semaphore spelling out the letters HELP. But when we came to do the shot the arrangement of the arms with those letters didn't look good. So we decided to improvise and ended up with the best graphic positioning of the arms." It actually spells out NUJV.
